Acer updated their lineup powered by Chrome OS. Chromebook 15 CB-532 is a newcomer. The main distinctions of the new Chromebook are relatively low price and long working hours away from a power socket.
Chromebook 15 is equipped with 15.6-inch Acer ComfyView LED-screen with the resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. In the heart of it, operates dual-core Intel Celeron N3060 processor at the frequency of 1,6GHz. It has 2GB LPDDR3, low power DDR that uses lower voltages and consequently lower frequencies, and eMMC 16GB flash drive.
Storage space can be expanded by adding an SDXC memory card, up to 128GB. Additionally, every buyer gets 100GB of cloud storage. However, as any other Chromebook, it only supports dedicated applications, that can be obtained from Google Play Store. So maybe you won’t need much space at all.
The device has a battery with a capacity of 3950 mAh and, as the producer states, is capable of working 12 hours on one full charge. Moreover, the device is equipped with wireless module Wi-Fi 802.11ac MIMO 2×2 (2,4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and one HDMI port.
Chromebook weighs just under 2 kg with dimensions 383 × 256 × 24.2 mm. It is capable of surviving a fall on its edges from the height of 60 cm or pressure of objects that weigh up to 60 kg.
The model is already on the US market with a price tag of $200. Yet, its appearance on the UK market is anticipated soon. For upgrade and data migration contact London laptop repair service, Bits and PCs.
