Shuttle renewed the line with desktops that have a volume less than 1 litre. This tiny desktop is based on Intel Kaby Lake architecture. The top configuration uses Intel Core i7-7500U, a dual-core processor with a frequency of 2,7GHz (3,5GHz in Turbo Mode) and Intel HD Graphics 620 chip.
This tiny body accommodates some upgradability: inside there is a space for 2 RAM modules. NC03U can carry up to 32GB of DDR4-2133. There is also space for two hard drives: a traditional 2,5-inch SATA drive and M.2 SSD module.
The mini-PC is equipped with Gigabit Ethernet controller, wireless network adapter Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and SD-card reader. For video output, HDMI and DisplayPort were thoughtfully provided. Additionally, there are few USB ports: USB 3.0 Type-A, USB 3.0 Type-C and two USB 2.0 serial ports.
The device occupies extremely small space. Its dimensions are 142 × 142 × 42mm. It was noted that the device will be compatible with Windows 10 and Linux-based systems. This product is expected to appear on the market in the near future. However, no dates have been disclosed yet.
